COLUMBUS, Ohio - As the Columbus Destroyers prepare to kick off their third Arena Football League season at home on Sunday, January 29 at 3 p.m. against the Grand Rapids Rampage, fans can listen to the insiders' preview when "Destroyers Weekly" returns on Monday, January 23 from 7-8 p.m. on 107.1 The Big Wazoo in Columbus. The live hour-long show will be hosted by WLVQ/WAZU Sports Director "Archie" and a rotation of co-hosts starting with Head Coach Doug Kay along with the radio broadcast tandem of play-by-play announcers Marty Bannister and Steve Sefner.
Each Monday night during the Destroyers season, the panel will provide analysis and commentary on the team's previous game and preview their next opponent. In addition, fans are invited to participate by emailing their questions to destroyersweekly@columbusdestroyers.com or calling live at (614) 821-1071. The player guest for Monday's season debut will be quarterback John Kaleo.
Tune into 107.1 The Big Wazoo for live broadcasts of all 16 regular season games as well as potential postseason contests. Announcer Marty Bannister and analyst Rob Blackman call the game action while Archie provides sideline reports and co-hosts the post-game show live from Huntington Field at Nationwide Arena. The pre-game show begins 30 minutes prior to every game broadcast and the coverage continues through the post-game wrap-up.
Infinity Broadcasting Columbus is the Destroyers' official radio broadcast partner with 107.1 The Big Wazoo as the flagship station for the Destroyers Radio Network. Infinity Broadcasting Columbus encompasses 107.1 The Big Wazoo along with QFM96 and Country Legends K95. The Destroyers Radio Network includes affiliates WLOH 1320 AM in Lancaster and WCHI 1350 AM in Chillicothe.
Single game tickets are now available starting as low as $10 and season tickets are on sale now for as low as $90 and are available by calling (614) 246-HITS or by visiting www.ColumbusDestroyers.com. Individual tickets may also be purchased at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, or by phone at (614) 431-3600. Tickets are also available at the Blue Jackets Zones located at Chiller Dublin, Chiller Easton and Chiller North. All tickets are subject to service charges and facility fees.
