Destroyers ink three, including former Colt

COLUMBUS, OH - The Columbus Destroyers, presented by Germain, signed defensive back Anthony Floyd, defensive lineman Bernard Riley and offensive lineman Chris Jahnke, Head Coach Doug Kay announced today .

Floyd (5-10, 199, Louisville) a native of Youngstown, Ohio, attended Chaney High School. Last season in NFL Europe, he suited up for the Berlin Thunder and earned All-NFL Europe honors after tying for second in the league with four interceptions. In 2003, he signed as an un-drafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts and played free safety for two seasons. In 17 games with the Colts he made 56 tackles, defended two passes and recovered a fumble.

Riley (6-2, 315, Southern California) spent the last two Arena Football seasons with the Los Angeles Avengers. The Anaheim, Calif. native, garnered 25.5 tackles and two sacks for the Avengers. The University of Southern California graduate lettered all four-years (2000-03) and amassed 76 tackles, nine for a loss of yardage. In 2003, he went to training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Jahnke (6-5, 320, Indiana) a Louisville, Ky. native, spent last season in arenafootball2 with the Quad City Steamwheelers. He started in 14 of 16 contests and made one tackle. In 2005, Jahnke went to training camp with the Minnesota Vikings and was released before the start of the season.
