Desperados Playoff Game Changes Date & Venue

Dallas Desperados News Release
The Dallas Desperados â who clinched the Central Division title with their victory over the Grand Rapids Rampage last Sunday â have changed their first-round playoff game against the Georgia Force to Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the American Airlines Center.
At the request of the Arena Football League and NBC Sports, the Desperados moved their first-round playoff game against the Georgia Force from Sunday to Saturday. The change in dates required a change in venue as Reunion Arena will be home to graduation ceremonies all day on Saturday. American Airlines Center was the Desperados home arena during their inaugural AFL season in 2002.
"We have really enjoyed playing at Reunion Arena this spring," says Desperados head coach Joe Avezzano. "But because of the great exposure that NBC presents on Saturday, we are looking forward to going to the American Airlines Center to establish a playoff atmosphere there."
NBC Sports will be televising the game to a national audience, as the Desperados and Force are the only Arena Football League playoff game scheduled for Saturday. Tom Hammond, Pat Haden and Lewis Johnson will bring the action to the nation.
