Desperados Activate Carver, Place Cooper on IR

The Dallas Desperados today announced that they have activated OL/DL Shante Carver from Reserve/Injured and placed OL/DL D.J. Cooper on Reserve/Injured.
Carver was placed on Reserve/Injured on March 26 prior to undergoing arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee on March 27. He originally injured the knee in Dallas' game at Arizona (3/2) but played two of the next three games before an MRI revealed the tear. In the seven games he has played in this season, Carver has totaled 9.5 tackles, 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a blocked kick.
Cooper â who has been inactive the past three games â is being placed on Reserve/Injured with a sprained left knee. He has been active for six games this spring, recording five tackles and a quarterback pressure. He caught his first career pass at Orlando (2/16) â a 14-yarder â then posted his first career touchdown against Colorado (3/7) â catching a one-yard pass from Jim Kubiak for the score.
