NEW YORK – New York Dragons offensive specialist MIKE FURREY needs just three more touchdown receptions this Sunday to claim the season record (46 – MIKE HORACEK, 2000). The former Northern Iowa receiver is averaging at least three scoring catches per game. Entering this Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Storm (NBC, 3 p.m. ET), Furrey has recorded 104 receptions for 1,525 yards and 44 touchdowns and leads the AFL in scoring (276 points).

Only one other AFL receiver – Los Angeles Avengers offensive specialist CHRIS JACKSON – is on pace to surpass the record mark. Colorado's DAMIAN HARELL and Grand Rapids' TERRILL SHAW are on pace to break into the Top 10 in the category.
