
DePaula to AAA Louisville

Pensacola Blue Wahoos News Release
RHP Rafael De Paula have been transferred to AAA Louisville. This will be his third stint with the Bats this season. He's made four appearances with Louisville this season and allowed just one run over 6.2 innings. With the Wahoos he's 2-3 with a 2.65 ERA in 28 games. He leaves as one of the Blue Wahoos most dependable relievers. He had allowed just two runs in his last 14 games for an ERA of 1.08 since May 17.
In a corresponding move, RHP Zack Weiss has been transferred from AAA Louisville. Weiss made a brief appearance in the Big Leagues with the Reds and pitched in one game. Most of the season has been spent in Louisville where he's gone 2-2 with a 9.00 ERA in 11 games. In parts of two seasons with the Blue Wahoos, Weiss has compiled 34 saves with a 3-7 record and a 2.59 ERA.
