Denver Outlaws News Release
DENVER - The Denver Outlaws unveiled their "10 Seasons of Outlaws Lacrosse" logo Tuesday, which will be used to celebrate the 2015 season, the team's 10th season of Major League Lacrosse.
In conjunction with the logo unveiling is the first day of 31 Days of Prizes, which rewards fans who have put deposits down on 2015 season tickets. For the next 31 days fans that renew or purchase season tickets for the 2015 season are eligible to win a variety of exciting prizes.
Prizes vary and include by are not limited to autographed team memorabilia, Outlaws official apparel, golf outings with an Outlaws player, Denver Broncos tickets, and the opportunity to be "Coach for a Day" for a game during the 2015 Outlaws season. Winners will be posted on DenverOutlaws.com on July 11, 18, 25, and 31.
The Outlaws look forward to commemorating their 10th season with the "10 Seasons of Outlaws Lacrosse" logo. Since the Outlaws' inaugural season in 2006, they have set the bar for success in Major League Lacrosse across numerous categories. Denver has the best MLL record over the nine-year span at 81-28 (.743), and is the only franchise to have a win percentage above .600, with the Boston Cannons ranking second at 62-47 (.569).
Denver's 25-game regular-season win streak that spanned from 2012 to Week 6 of the 2014 season ranks first in MLL history, topping the previous 7-game record by 18 wins. The team's 25-game streak ranks third for regular-season win streaks in professional sports, and Denver's 2013 undefeated season put them in rare company, as there have only been four other major North American pro sports teams to post undefeated seasons.
The Outlaws are the only MLL team to post a winning season for each year they've been existence, and are tied for first in winning seasons since the MLL's inaugural season in 2001.
The Outlaws have also posted the top point differential since 2006, at +310. They are one of only three teams to have a positive point differential during that span-well ahead of second-place Boston at +130-and the only team to post a positive point differential in each of those nine seasons.
