Denver Outlaws News Release

DENVER - The Denver Outlaws will be celebrating Independence Day with their annual post-game fireworks show on the Fourth of July following their game versus the Ohio Machine at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The Outlaws and Sports Authority Field at Mile High will be working with the American Red Cross Colorado Chapters to collect cash donations at the game to support in the relief efforts with the Colorado wildfires. Outlaws staff members will collect donations on the concourse and within the seating bowl throughout the event.

The fireworks and multimedia display will be best experienced from inside Sports Authority Field, as the close-proximity fireworks show is set to release over 10,000 rounds. All explosives will be set off within the stadium, including rounds on the field, making the show safe for the neighborhoods surrounding the building.

"We are looking forward to spending the Fourth of July with our fans while contributing to the relief efforts for those affected by the wildfires burning throughout Colorado," Outlaws Director of Business Development Chuck Olney said. "Our post-game fireworks show has become a great Independence Day tradition for this community that gives our fans a chance to celebrate the holiday in a very safe and controlled environment."

The close-proximity fireworks show has become one of the city's premiere events and this year promises to be a display to be remembered. Produced by Zambelli International, the post-game fireworks will feature the latest in close proximity pyrotechnics designed and utilized with the utmost confidence in both indoor and outdoor venues including rooftops, stadiums, theaters, amusement parks and convention centers.

The Outlaws set the professional lacrosse attendance record at last year's Independence Day celebration game on July 3, 2011, hosting over 27,000 fans. The action between the Outlaws and Machine begins at 7 p.m. MDT.

Following the game, Sean Kelly from The Samples will sing one acoustic song, followed by Bianca Herbert, who will perform God Bless America. The fireworks show is set to commence at 9:45 p.m.

Tickets in the lower seating bowl are still available and start at just $15 by calling 303-OUTLAWS or online at Ticketmaster.com.
