
Denver Outlaws Host Chicago Tomorrow Under Fireworks

Denver-July 3, 2007 - The Denver Outlaws hope to make it back-to-back wins against the Chicago Machine when they play at INVESCO Field at Mile High on Wednesday, July 4th. Attackman Brendan Mundorf leads the team into the game with 19 goals and 8 assists. Mundorf currently sits 7th among MLL scoring leaders with 27 points.
The Outlaws are coming off a 19-9 victory last Saturday in Chicago, with rookie goalie Jesse Schwartzman picking up the win in his first career start. The Machine enter the game reeling, as they have lost 3 straight. The Machine have won only one game in team history, with that win coming against the Outlaws. Chicago beat Denver 19-17 in their game on June 2nd and that victory remains their lone win as a franchise.
Denver holds the second position in the Western Conference standings with a record of 3-3, while Chicago sits in last place at 1-5 on the year.
The Machine hope to repeat an impressive performance versus the Outlaws in their first match-up on June 2. Chicago comes to town with the number one overall pick in the 2007 MLL Draft, Pat Heim, who had 4 goals in his first game against the Outlaws. Kevin Leveille leads Chicago with 17 goals and 7 assists for the season.
Fans can expect a hard-fought battle on the July 4, with a spectacular fireworks display to follow the game.
