On the face-off following a Drew Westervelt goal for the Outlaws, San Francisco's Greg Gurenlian gained possession and fired it past goalie Jesse Schwartzman. Three unanswered goals by Mundorf, Brown, and Matt Hanna gave the Outlaws the advantage, 7-2. But with Dan Cocoziello and Hanna out on a penalty, Dragon Lewis Ratcliff scored a man-up goal with 39 seconds left in the half.

Out of the locker room, San Francisco scored three consecutive goals narrowing the score to 7-6. On that run, Jake Byrne, Matt Lalli and Brendan Loftus all recorded a goal. Westervelt and Lalli traded goals preserving the status quo.

His second goal of the night, Bud Light MVP Mundorf recorded a goal with help from Ryan Powell on the assist. Not giving up hope was San Francisco's Tim Booth with a marker at 4:48. The night wouldn't be complete without a goal by Powell who delivered in the fourth quarter. Closing out the night was an unassisted goal by Loftus, his second of the night.
