Adirondack Thunder News Release
Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that it has signed forward Dennis Kravchenko to a standard player contract for the 2018-2019 season.
Kravchenko, 24, returns to the Thunder after spending the 2017-2018 season in Fort Wayne. With the Komets, Kravchenko posted 54 points (21-33-54) in 61 games played, while accumulating 94 PIM and a +27 rating.
The 5-foot-9 forward skated his rookie season for the Thunder during the 2016-2017 campaign when he was one of five full-time Adirondack players to average at least a point-per-game. Kravchenko recorded 43 points (18-25-43) from 41 regular season games played, good for fifth most on the Thunder, while also being Adirondack's leading point-scorer during the 2017 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
Prior to turning pro, the Laguna Niguel, CA native skated two seasons at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he contributed 61 points (22-39-61) from 68 games and led all Minutemen skaters in scoring during his initial year with the team.
