Dennis, Guillen Named to USL Team of the Week

ST. PETERSBURG, FL - The USL Championship unveiled the Team of the Week on Tuesday afternoon, with the Tampa Bay Rowdies' Charlie Dennis and Aaron Guillen making the cut for their contributions in the club's 1-1 draw at Orange County SC in Week 2 of the campaign.
Dennis and Guillen are the first Rowdies players to earn Team of the Week honors so far this season.
A newcomer to Tampa Bay, Dennis was clinically efficient making his second start for the Rowdies. The Englishman provided the corner kick delivery that was flicked on by Cal Jennings for Zach Herivaux to convert at the back post for the late equalizer. Dennis also completed 51 of 59 passes and 8 of 11 long passes. In addition, Dennis won 4 of 5 tackles, 10 of 15 duels and 3 of 3 aerial duels.
Guillen produced a crucial goal line clearance in the second half, denying last year's USL Championship Golden Boot winner Milan Iloski with a header at the near post. The Rowdies captain also won 9 of 9 duels, made nine recoveries, and completed 5 of 5 dribbles.
