San Antonio FC Defender Shannon Gomez Called up to Trinidad & Tobago National Team

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC defender Shannon Gomez has been called up to the Trinidad & Tobago National Team for upcoming CONCACAF Nations League matches, the club announced today.
Gomez has made six caps with the national team, including four Nations League matches last season. In a 2-0 win over St. Vincent last June, Gomez tallied the first assist of his international career.
Through two matches this season, Gomez has been on the pitch for every minute of USL Championship play for SAFC. In 180 minutes, Gomez has made five interceptions and four tackles.
Trinidad & Tobago opens their Nations League slate on Friday, March 24 against the Bahamas at 3:00 p.m. CT.
