
Delegation from Sister City Cologne, Germany, to Attend Tonight's Indy Eleven Game

INDIANAPOLIS (Saturday, October 10, 2015) - Indy Eleven Professional Soccer will proudly welcome members of a delegation from Cologne, Germany, to tonight's match at IUPUI's Carroll Stadium against the San Antonio Scorpions. The delegation is visiting this week as part of the continuing Sister Cities relationship between Indianapolis and Cologne, a partnership now in its 27th year.
The group attending tonight's match will include Cologne Vice-Mayor Angela Spizig and Werner Spinner, President of FC Köln, one of German soccer's most storied clubs and founding member of the world's most well-attended soccer league, the German Bundesliga. As part of the trip to Indianapolis, Spinner officially recognized his team's new Cologne FC-Indy fan club, founded by The International Center Vice President of Programs / Services Martin Baier.

About Indy Eleven Professional Soccer
After selling out all 14 home games of its 2014 Inaugural Season in the North American Soccer League (NASL), a professional soccer league based in the United States and Canada, Indy Eleven entered its second season of NASL play in April 2015. The squad contests its home games at Michael A. Carroll Stadium (2015 capacity of 10,524) on the campus of IUPUI in downtown Indianapolis, where an average of nearly 10,500 fans helped Indy Eleven lead the growing league in attendance during its first season.
