
Del Bianco's 'Assists for Kids' Program Raises $10,640 for KidSport Calgary

Calgary, AB - Calgary Roughnecks goaltender Christian Del Bianco and the Roughnecks Foundation, in partnership with Ascent Consulting Ltd. are proud to announce a donation of $10,640 to KidSport Calgary through Del Bianco's 'Assists for Kids' program.
"I say it every year, the generosity of Ascent Consulting and the difference this will make in the community and in youth sport in Calgary, it's really awesome," said Del Bianco. "I'm proud of this program and the amount that we have been able to direct to KidSport since its launch in 2018."
"Being a community-funded organization, we really depend on our community to make our programs happen, so we are so grateful to Ascent and to Christian for their support" said Mirela Rahneva from KidSport Calgary.
As part of the program, both Del Bianco and the Calgary Roughnecks Foundation each contributed $30 for every regular season assist recorded by the Calgary goaltender, while Ascent Consulting Ltd. donated $500 per assist. The 25-year-old Port Coquitlam, BC product recorded 19 assists in 18 regular season contests during the 2023-24 National Lacrosse League campaign.
Since it's inception in 2018-19, the program has raised over $48,000 for youth sport programs in Alberta.
