
Defenseman Jake Baker Returns from AHL's Manitoba Moose

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Friday that defenseman Jake Baker has been recalled by the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Baker, 25, returns from Manitoba where he has collected one assist and 30 penalty minutes in 15 appearances this season. Baker has logged a goal and an assist in 14 games played with the Everblades this season. In addition, he was scoreless in three games played with the Quad City Mallards (ECHL).
The 6-5, 225-pound defenseman totaled 25 points (8g, 17a) and 169 penalty minutes in 144 games during his collegiate career with Northern Michigan University from 2011-2015. Baker is on a 2-way AHL contract with Manitoba this season.
Baker is expected to be available tonight when the Everblades battle the Orlando Solar Bears at the Amway Center in Orlando. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Eastern time.
