Daytona Beach Thunder News Release
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Just like Bono in U2, Daytona Beach Thunder Head Coach/General Manager Ervin Bryson still hasn't found what he's looking for, and will hold a tryout for the American Indoor Football League expansion team on Saturday, December 3 at Municipal Stadium, 3777 LPGA Blvd., Daytona Beach.
"The players that I have on the roster now are incredible, but there's an "x" factor and a piece of the puzzle missing," Bryson said. "I'm hopeful to find it."
Registration begins at 8 a.m. and workouts at 9 a.m. The tryout fee is $55 -- $30 for those who previously tried out -- and all participants will receive a t-shirt with the Thunder's original monster logo. Activities will include the 40-yard dash, shuttle drill and 7-on-7 match-ups.
The Thunder will make its Ocean Center debut on March 2, 2006. For more information, visit the team's official web site at http://www.dbthunder.net.
