
Jack Bowman named to Minor League Football Hall of Fame

Florence, SC - Jack Bowman, General Manager for the American Indoor Football League (AIFL) expansion team, Florence Phantoms, has been tapped as an inductee into the Minor League Football (MLF) Hall of Fame. Mr. Bowman is known throughout the Minor League Football industry for his executive and managerial talents. Before assuming the helm with the Phantoms, Jack led the management of several organizations including the Winston-Salem Energy, Carolina Stingrays and the Fayetteville Guard.
The Class of 2005 ring and trophy for the Executive Category will be presented to Jack Bowman Thursday, December 8, at 7:00 p.m.
A social hour beginning at 6:00 p.m. gives guests, speakers and honorees an opportunity to meet before the scheduled semi-formal dinner and presentation. Seating is limited to one hundred guests and the cost for dinner, which includes taxes and gratuity, will be $44.00.
Guest speakers will include Ron James, head coach of the AFL's Las Vegas Gladiators and Anthony Miller a five-time NFL Pro Bowl Player. Mr. Miller has been ranked in the top 50 NFL receivers of all time having received 595 catches for 9,148 yards and 63 touchdowns.
The Oasis Resort and Casino at 897 Mesquite Blvd., in Mesquite, Nevada is this year's host for the MLF Hall of Fame ceremony and banquet. Mesquite, an hour and fifteen minutes north of Las Vegas, is known as the âPalm Springs' of Nevada and is the place where Las Vegas people go to relax.
The hotel features 1000 rooms, four restaurants, five swimming pools, fitness center, spa, tanning beds, arcade, three championship golf courses, tennis courts, go-cart track, horseback riding, 24-hour casino and convention center.
