Mike Rathe threw a World Indoor Football League record eight touchdown passes as the Augusta Spartans (7-6) defeated the Daytona Beach Thunder 66-49 before 3,039 at James Brown Arena. Cory McKinney caught passes for 127 yards and three touchdowns for the 3-10 Thunder.
