TAMPA BAY - Tampa Bay Storm wide receiver DeAndrew Rubin earned the Arena Football League Nifty Playmaker of the Week, announced Head Coach and General Manager Tim Marcum.

"DeAndrew had a real nice game," said Marcum. "He stepped up and filled in for Cleannord Saintil, it was definitely a performance we needed against the Rattlers."

Rubin, (6-foot-0, 185 lbs, South Florida) had a breakout performance in his first game with the Storm. The former Dixie Hollins High (Kenneth City, FL) standout caught a career single-game high 184 yards receiving and five touchdowns on nine receptions. The 184 yards receiving is the fifth highest single-game total in franchise history.

Rubin's final touchdown of the night proved to be the game winner, giving the Storm the 62-61 victory over Arizona after Arizona failed to convert a two-point conversion following their final touchdown. The victory pushed Tampa Bay back to .500 and earned Marcum his 200th career victory.
