
Dean and Jones Return for Year Two with the Storm

The Sioux Falls Storm is excited to announce the return of Mickey Dean and Jason Jones for the 2011 season.
Mickey Dean will be returning for his second year as a Sioux Falls Storm running back. Dean played in one game for the Storm in 2010, rushing for 15 yards on four carries and a touchdown, and averaging 3.8 yards a carry. Dean is an alumni of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, as well as a former member of the CFL's BC Lions. While at UA-PB, Dean rushed for over 1,700 yards and 20 touchdowns. He was also a member of the 2009 SWAC All-Conference Preseason first team.
Jason Jones enters his second year after playing half of the 2010 season with the Storm. Jones caught 25 balls for 157 yards and a touchdown in seven regular season games. He added five more catches and a touchdown during the playoffs. Jones played at Arkansas-Pine Bluff before signing with the Buffalo Bills in 2008. In 2009, he played in the CFL for British Columbia and for the Arizona Rattlers of Arena Football 1 in 2010.
"These two signed on at the tail end of our 2010 season," said Storm Owner, Todd Tryon. "They both show huge potential. We are excited to get them into camp and what they've got."
