DC and Capitols to Attend Zoo Light on Wednesday

Middleton, WI - Players from the Madison Capitols and mascot DC Eagle are attending the Zoo Lights Member & Sponsor Preview on Wednesday night at the Henry Vilas Zoo.
"We love any opportunity to work with the zoo and spend time with members of the community," team president Andrew Joudrey said. "This event is always incredibly fun for our players to attend and get into the holiday spirit."
The event allows members and sponsors to get an early look at Zoo Lights, which opens up to the public on Thursday, Nov. 15, and runs through Dec. 30. The preview regularly attracts upwards of two thousand people.
Zoo Lights is a seasonal event put on by the Henry Vilas Zoo with holiday lights and displays that turn the zoo into a winter wonderland, as well as a holiday market with new vendors each weekend.
Henry Vilas Zoo is located at 702 S. Randall Ave. The Zoo Lights Member & Sponsor Preview night begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 8:00 pm on Nov. 14.
DC Eagle and the Capitols return to action this Friday as they take on the Chicago Steel for the second $1 beer night of the season. Game time is 7:05 pm. If you can't make it out to the game, make sure to follow along on HockeyTV and the Madison Capitols Channel on Mixlr.
