ROANOKE, Va., Dec. 17 - The Roanoke Dazzle outscored the Arkansas RimRockers 78-38 in the second half and 43-13 in the fourth quarter alone, to take a 127-94 victory at the Roanoke Civic Center.

The Dazzle bench led the charge, outscoring the RimRockers bench 67-23, getting 19 points from newest team member Andray Blatche and 13 from Kevin Owens. It was the Dazzle bench whose crucial play in the second and third quarters that pushed the team not only back into the game and but ultimately to the victory.

"Today we found out how we needed to play to win," said Dazzle Coach Kent Davison. "We are a team that has to score a lot of points in the paint. The team knew they played the way they had to, to win games."

Five Dazzle players in all reached double figures with Blatche's 19, Isiah Victor also had 19, Peter Ramos with 15, Owens with 13 and Anthony Grundy with 13 points respectively.

Arkansas, who entered the game leading the league in scoring, averaging 113 points, was held to their lowest output this season with the 94. The RimRockers were short benched missing Pape Sow, who didn't dress due to injury.

"We're a team that has to learn not to rest on our laurels," said RimRockers Coach Joe Harge. "Roanoke did a great job bouncing back in a short period of time, but we have to learn and adjust to having players with injuries."

The RimRockers had three players score in double figures with Donta Smith scoring a game-high 23 points, Clay Tucker with 17 and Kareem Reid chipping in with 15 points.

With the win, the Dazzle snap a four game home losing streak and improve to 4-7 on the season. The Dazzle will next host the Florida Flame at the Roanoke Civic Center Friday, December 23rd at 7:00 p.m.

The RimRockers now drop to 7-3 on the season and head home to Alltel Arena where they will host the Tulsa 66ers on Thursday, December 22nd at 7:30 p.m.
