Daytona vs. Charlotte Postponed Friday

DAYTONA BEACH, FL - Game two of the FSL Championship Series scheduled for Friday, September 6 between the Daytona Cubs and Charlotte Stone Crabs has been postponed due to rain and field conditions at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. The game has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 7 at Jackie Robinson Ballpark with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

The postponement results in the remainder of the series being pushed back a day as well. Games three, four (if necessary) and five (if necessary) will be played at Charlotte Sports Park beginning Sunday, September 8. First pitch Sunday is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.

All tickets for Friday's game can be exchanged for admission on Saturday. Tickets are available online at daytonacubs.com, by calling (386) 257-3172 and at the Daytona Cubs ticket office across the street from Jackie Robinson Ballpark at 110 E. Orange Ave. Saturday's game will still feature "Thirsty Thursday" prices with $1 small sodas and $1 domestic draft beers all night.

The Cubs lead the best-of-five series 1-0 after a 5-0 win on Thursday at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Daytona has won 14 of its last 15 games and is seeking its sixth FSL championship.

Saturday, September 7th - Jackie Robinson Ballpark - 7:05 p.m.

Sunday, September 8th - Charlotte Sports Park - 5:00 p.m.

*Monday, September 9th - Charlotte Sports Park - 6:30 p.m.
