Bradenton Marauders News Release
Bradenton, Fla. - The Pittsburgh Pirates and Bradenton Marauders will open McKechnie Field on Saturday, October 26 for the return of Trunk or Treat. This free trick-or-treating event is being held for the first time since the renovation of McKechnie Field last winter. The event will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., rain or shine. More than 1,000 trick-or-treaters have attended previous Trunk or Treats.
Trunk or Treat allows children to trick-or-treat in a safe environment, receiving candy from Halloween themed vehicle trunks. Other activities include hayrides around the ballpark, inflatables, a DJ, and cookie decorating. For the first time ever, there will also be a haunted locker room for attendees to explore.
The Pirates and Marauders are seeking businesses and non-profits to set up their vehicle for trunk candy distribution. Venders will have an opportunity to win a prize for having the best decorated trunk. For information about how to become a Trunk or Treat vender, contact Anne Putnam at 941-747-3031 ext. 4350 or by email at Anne.Putnam@Pirates.com.
