
Daytona Cubs & Sarasota Reds Game Rained Out on Wednesday Night

[DAYTONA BEACH, FL] Wednesday's game between the Daytona Cubs (17-12) and the Sarasota Reds (16-16) has been postponed and cancelled due to heavy rains in the Daytona Beach area. The game will NOT be made up, as Daytona does not play Sarasota again this season.
Rain started falling on "The Jack" around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday and had still not let up at the time of the postponement. The cancellation is the third rainout for the Cubs this season, with all three rainouts coming during the month of July.
The Cubs are back in town Monday night as they welcome the Palm Beach Cardinals to "The Jack" first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. For ticket information please call (386) 257-3172 or log onto www.daytonacubs.com.
