SALT LAKE CITY (September 1, 2009) - The Salt Lake Bees announced today that left-handed pitcher Daniel Davidson and catcher Ben Johnson have been activated from the Disabled List and will return to the Bees lineup.

Davidson, 28, was placed on the Disabled List on August 25 with a left intercostal strain. He has appeared in 42 games of relief for the Bees in 2009, owning a 2-3 record with a 6.89 ERA with 41 strikeouts. In four games with the Angels this season, he registered a 5.40 ERA in 1.2 innings of relief. The Panama City, Fla. native was originally selected by the Angels in the 13th round of the 2003 draft.

Johnson, 27, was placed on the Disabled List on August 10 with a right oblique strain. He has appeared in 33 games for the Bees in 2009, hitting .262 with nine doubles, two triples, one home run and six RBI. In 41 games for Arkansas this season, he owns a .184 average with seven doubles, one triple, four home runs and 22 RBI. The Seattle, Wash. native was originally selected by the Angels in the 23rd round of the 2004 draft.

The Salt Lake Bees continue the team's final regular season road trip tonight against the Tacoma Rainiers at 8 p.m. The team returns home on Friday, September 4 to begin the final four games of the 2009 regular season against the Sacramento River Cats.
