Winston-Salem Dash News Release
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (MARCH 19, 2013) - The Winston-Salem Dash will once again hold "Dash University," an orientation program designed to update the organization's customer service team members on its goals and objectives, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Winston-Salem on Wednesday, March 27, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Unsurpassed customer service is a priority within the Dash organization and is outlined in the club's customer service standards, which are what all team members strive for every game at BB&T Ballpark.
Every member of the Dash's organization strives to make each fan experience at BB&T Ballpark a memorable one, and Dash University is a critical piece of this process. This year's program will include more than 150 employees from Rhino Sports & Entertainment Services, who staffed Wake Forest University football games last season.
"Each year, Dash University gives all of our gameday and front office team members the chance to learn about and discuss our customer service objectives," Dash team President Geoff Lassiter said. "Every game at BB&T Ballpark is an opportunity to impress and entertain our fans, and Dash University's principles help us do that."
Here is the schedule for Dash University, which will run approximately two hours:
5:30-6:00 p.m.: Team member check-in; snacks and beverages available
6:00-6:15 p.m.: Welcome and introduction
6:15-7:15 p.m.: Breakout sessions to various departments
7:15-7:30 p.m.: Closing remarks
This is a mandatory orientation program designed to update all customer service team members on the club's goals and objectives for 2013 and beyond, as well as each department's philosophies and updates on the upcoming season. All front office team members will be in attendance to review the customer service approach.
The Dash's 2013 regular season begins Friday, April 5, against the Carolina Mudcats in Zebulon, N.C. One week later, the club opens up the home slate with a 7 p.m. date against the Mudcats.
