Darius Days Named Kia NBA G League Player of the Month

EDINBURG, Texas - The NBA G League announced today that Houston Rockets Two-Way player and Rio Grande Valley Vipers forward Darius Days has been named Player of the Month for games played in March.

Days becomes the first RGV player to earn this honor since former Vipers player, Isaiah Hartenstein, won the award during the 2018-19 season. Days is also the 10th RGV player, in franchise history, to be named Player of the Month.

Days averaged 25.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals during the month of March in which the team held an 8-2 record. During the 10 games played in March, Days also posted 6 double-doubles and led the team in scoring five times and rebounds four times. He also tied his career-high in rebounds with 14.
