Danville Opens Four-Game Series vs. Greeneville

DANVILLE, Va. - The Danville Braves will play host to the Greeneville Reds for four-game set at Legion Field on August 16-18, including a scheduled doubleheader.
Danville will open its doubleheader at 5 p.m. on Thursday, making up a rainout from July 6 in Greeneville. The D-Braves will be giving away Danville Braves shirseys to the first 300 fans, sponsored by Piney Forest Health and Rehab. Fans will also receive discounted fountain and draft beverages as part of the Braves Thirsty Thursday promotion, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings.
On Friday, August 17, the Danville Braves will host two special events at Legion Field. All fans can participate in Star Wars night, which will include appearances from Star Wars characters on the concourse. Special ticket packages remain for the first-ever D-Braves Beer, Brushes & Baseball event. The all-inclusive ticket package comes with professional instruction, paint supplies (canvas, paints, etc.), one game ticket and one drink for $30 with the event beginning at 5 p.m. by the picnic tables, presented by Blue Ridge Beverage.
The final bobblehead giveaway of the 2018 season will come on Saturday, August 18. The Danville Braves will give away Chipper Jones "Crazy Train" bobbleheads to the first 500 fans in attendance, sponsored by Danville Toyota. As always, the policy is one bobblehead per person, not ticket.
