Danbury defensiveman Larocque joins Mike Omicioli in Bridgeport

DANBURY, CT- The Danbury Trashers, proud members of the United Hockey League (UHL), have announced that veteran defenseman Mario Larocque was assigned to Bridgeport of the American Hockey League (AHL), where he'll be joined by fellow Trashers teammate Mike Omicioli, who signed a PTO with the SoundTigers last week.

Larocque is making his third trip of the season to Bridgeport, where he is +1 in four games. Omicioli just finished his first weekend with the SoundTigers in electrifying action as he accrued five points on one goal, a game-winner last Sunday against Springfield. He also earned the #1 Star of the Game as he finished with three points in the contest.

Tickets for the first two Colonial Cup Playoff games and 2006-07 Season Tickets are going on sale to the general public starting Wednesday March 29th starting at 10am.

Playoff tickets are $20 each and will be available to all fans for the first two home playoff games. They may be purchased in person at the Danbury Ice Arena during team store hours, by calling 866-565-PUCK or online at DanburyTrashers.com.

Season tickets for the 2006-07 campaign will also be on sale starting on Wednesday at 10am. Season tickets are priced at a special discount of $494 ($13/game reserved) and $570 ($15/game premium) when purchased prior to August 31st. Purchasing season tickets now also allows fans to buy the entire run of 2006 Colonial Cup Playoff games (12 total). Any portion of non-played playoff games will be used towards their balance on next year's season tickets.

Danbury returns home on Friday March 31st against the Elmira Jackals starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are available at DanburyTrashers.com or by calling 866-565-PUCK.
