Dallas Sidekicks to Take on Milwaukee Wave in Last Home Match of the Season

Allen, TEXAS - This Thursday the Dallas Sidekicks (7-10) will hold their annual Fan Appreciation Night when the team hosts the Milwaukee Wave (11-7) in their final home match of the season. Kickoff is 7:35 p.m. at Allen Event Center.
To celebrate the season and their fans, the Sidekicks will have numerous merchandise giveaways throughout the match presented by OrthoTexas. Plus, the first 1,500 spectators in the door will receive a free fan clapper. Sponsors and friends of the team will participate in fun-filled mascot game during halftime, bringing back the long-held Sidekicks tradition.
Sidekicks forward Cameron Brown will look to extend a 13-game point streak, the Garland native topping the team with 19 goals and 8 Assists. Close behind is defender Cody Ellis, who is having the most successful offensive season of his career with 15 goals. Goalkeeper Milo will return to the Sidekicks' net for his fourth game of the season.
It will be a special night for Sidekicks defender Fabinho, who played for the Wave from 2011-2014. He helped the team to the 2012 MISL Championship, and Thursday will be the first time he will face the team since returning to Dallas.
The Wave will make their way to Allen Event Center coming off of a 9-7 home victory against Chicago last Sunday. Midfielder Max Ferdinand scored two goals and Marcio Leite netted a hat trick. The pair rank second and third in Wave scoring, sitting behind Ian Bennett who leads the team with 32 goals and seven assists. Goalkeeper Nick Vorberg's 5.21 GAA is the fourth best in the MASL, and his .728 save percentage comes up eighth.
