Dallas Sidekicks Sign Rookie Midfielder Raul Acosta

Allen, TX - The Dallas Sidekicks have announced the signing of defensive midfielder, Raul Acosta. The 2022-2023 MASL season will mark Acosta's first time playing at the professional level.
Acosta grew up in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from high school at Life Waxahachie. When growing up, Acosta played for Real GP 02 and North Texas Olympic Development Program.
He then went on to play collegiately at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. At Northeastern Oklahoma, Acosta was inducted into the college's Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society where he maintained a GPA of 3.5 while completing 12 credit hours.
To prepare for his rookie season, Acosta has been building his endurance every day, eating well, and mentally preparing.
"It's a blessing to be with the Sidekicks. I've always wanted to be a professional player since I was little," Acosta commented when asked about signing with the Sidekicks.
