
Dallas Sidekicks Sign Midfielder Flavio Guzman

Allen, Texas - The Dallas Sidekicks have announced the signing of midfielder, Flavio Guzman. This will be Guzman's rookie year at the Sidekicks and in the MASL. Per team and league policies, the terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Guzman was born on April 6, 1993, and grew up in Oak Cliff, Texas. He went to high school at Molina High School and was involved in the soccer program there. As a sophomore, Guzman lettered.
Growing up, Guzman also played club soccer at Oak Cliff United from 2004 to 2009. In 2009, Guzman played for FC Dallas Junior and stayed there until 2012. At FC Dallas Juniors, Guzman was coached by Oscar Pareja and Chris Hayden.
In 2012, Guzman played collegiate soccer at Dallas College Richland. During his time at Richland, Guzman scored nine goals and had 11 assists.
He then transferred to Midwestern State University and was a part of the soccer team there too. He scored 16 goals and had 9 assists during his time at MSU.
