Dallas Sidekicks News Release

(ALLEN, TEXAS) The Dallas Sidekicks Dancers have announced their Director, Dusty Solis, is retiring. She has run the Dance Team for the past five seasons and has been a major asset to the team and organization as a whole. The professionalism she brought to the team and organization is unprecedented. She will continue to work with the Dallas Sidekicks organization going forward but will no longer direct the Dance Team.

"I write this with an emotional yet happy heart about the future of DSD. I would like to focus on my personal life and career more, so I feel it is time to pass on the DSD Director hat to a well-deserved three-year DSD Veteran, Amber Clanton. Amber has displayed great leadership qualities over the past several years and I look forward to seeing her take DSD to the next level. Being the Director of the Dallas Sidekick Dancers for the last 5 seasons has exceeded any dream of mine and has been an amazing chapter in my life that I will forever cherish. Thank you to the Dallas Sidekicks organization and the amazing fans for their ongoing support, love, and appreciation for the DSD program. Lastly, I will forever be grateful for Shelly Matityahu, all of the sponsors, photographers, makeup artists, hairstylists, choreographers, videographers that I've had the honor working with to make DSD the highly recognized program it is today and to all the beautiful young ladies I've had the opportunity to coach; thank you for all your hard work and love for dance. It's been an amazing ride and I appreciated the opportunity to coach the best dance team in the MASL!," Solis said.

The whole Dallas Sidekicks organization wants to say a hearty thank you to Solis for all the hard work she has put into the team both on and off field for so many seasons.
