Dakota Wizards' Tip-off 15th Anniversary Season

Bismarck, ND, Nov. 15, 2009 -- The Dakota Wizards fifteenth anniversary season has officially tipped off as new head coach Rory White and his staff, along with a full training camp roster of 17 players held their first practices Sunday at the University of Mary in Bismarck.
"I'm excited to finally have things underway," said White. "Being able to see the results of our draft prep, along with the returning players and the guys we picked up at our tryout camp is getting me pumped up to start our season."
The first chance to see the Dakota Wizards in action will be preseason game to be played Friday, November 20th, against the Sioux Falls Skyforce in Hazelton, ND at 6 pm.
The training camp roster includes all eight players selected in the 2009 NBA D-League Draft, five returning players from last season, three local tryout invitees, and recent camp invite Lorenzo Davis.
The roster will be reduced to 12 players by Wednesday, November 18th and then to the final limit of 10 by Wednesday, November 25th.
The Wizards open the season Novevmber 28th at the Bismarck Civic Center against the expansion Maine Red Claws. Season tickets, starting at just $99, are still available and can be purchased by calling 258-BALL.
