Dakota Wizards Join Fight Against Breast Cancer

Bismarck, N.D. (Oct. 8, 2010) - The Dakota Wizards announced today that they will join forces with Women's Way in the fight against Breast Cancer by holding a social on Saturday, October 23rd. The social will take place at Peacock Alley, 422 E. Main St., from 2-4:30 p.m.
Tickets for the social will be limited and they are available for $20 at Peacock Alley, Herbergers and the Dakota Wizards office. This ticket is also good for the Dec. 3rd game against the Reno Bighorns which will feature a special recognition for Breast Cancer survivors at halftime.
"What a better way to give back to the community than by hosting an event like this," said Wizards General Manager Terri Benson.
The social will also feature guest speakers, hors d'oeuvres, cash bar and a silent auction with a portion of the proceeds from the event going to Women's Way. Those attending will be able to register for a roundtrip airline voucher from Allegiant Air and by wearing Pink to the social you will receive a special door prize.
Season tickets and 5-ticket flex packs for the 2010-11 season are on sale. Single game tickets will go on sale in early November. The home opener is set for Friday, Nov. 19 against the Iowa Energy. For more information contact the Dakota Wizards at (701) 258-2255 or visit dakotawizards.com.
