
DaJuan Summers Suffers Season-Ending Injury

WHITE PLAINS, November 24, 2015 - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, announced today DaJuan Summers has suffered a season-ending injury to his left Achilles tendon. Westchester will retain his NBA D-League rights.
In three games, Summers (6-8, 240) led the Westchester Knicks to a 3-0 start before being injured on Friday, Nov. 20 in the final two minutes of the team's win against the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Prior to the injury, Summers was averaging 25.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
Summers was originally acquired by Westchester in the 2014 Expansion Draft and appeared in four preseason games for the New York Knicks.
