
Dairy Queen Presents Friday's Playoff Game

PEORIA, Ill. (April 15, 2009) - The Peoria Rivermen announced today that game two of the West Division Semifinal between the Rivermen and the Houston Aeros on Friday night will be presented by Dairy Queen. All fans in attendance will be given a coupon for a FREE 12-ounce DQ Blizzard, courtesy of the Peoria Dairy Queens.
The coupon is redeemable at the Knoxville and Sheridan Road locations ONLY. If a Rivermen player scores a hat trick in Friday's game, fans will be able to redeem their ticket stub at either location for a FREE Double Cheeseburger Basket on only Saturday, April 18.
The Rivermen open the Calder Cup Playoffs with a game tonight against the Houston Aeros at 7 p.m. The game will take place at Carver Arena and Peoria Mayor Jim Ardis will drop the ceremonial puck. Tickets are available at the Peoria Civic Center box office, by calling (309) 676-1040 or online at www.rivermen.net.
