Arkansas at Fort Worth: Flyer lead 2-1 this season, but RimRockers lead 6-5 all-time.
Anaheim at Sioux Falls: First meeting. First road game for interim Anaheim coach Reggie Geary.
Bakersfield at Austin: Jam and Toros have split two meetings this year, both in Bakersfield.
Dakota at Albuquerque: Wizards lead 2-0. Seven of T-Birds 10 wins are at home.
Tulsa at Colorado: 14ers lead 2-0 and have won nine of 11 at Broomfield Event Center.
Los Angeles at Idaho: Stampede leads 2-0. Jeff Graves averaging a double-double against LA.

According to the Commercial Appeal, Mavericks guard Jason Terry's advice to fellow Seattle native Will Conroy prior to Wednesday's Dallas-Memphis game, the first for Conroy after being called-up from the Tulsa 66ers.

17 ON ASSIGNMENT: The Milwaukee Bucks assigned rookie forward Damir Markota to the Tulsa 66ers on Thursday. He is the 17th first-or-second-year NBA player assigned to a D-League affiliate this season. There were 29 players assigned all of last season.

MAVS SHAKE UP FLYERS ROSTER: The Dallas Mavericks recalled guard Jose Barea from Fort Worth and reassigned guard Maurice Ager to the Flyers on Thursday.

COMPARISON SHOPPING: The Memphis Grizzlies made Tulsa guard Will Conroy the eighth Gatorade Call-Up among eight players on Wednesday of this week. At this time last season there had been six call-ups among five players.

ALL-STAR COACHES: Sidney Moncrief of the Fort Worth Flyers and Joe Wolf of the Colorado 14ers will serve as head coaches for the Gillette D-League All-Star Game in association with 24 Hour Fitness, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007 on Center Court at NBA All-Star Jam Session at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

WHAT ABOUT THE PLAYERS? D-League All-Star teams will be announced on Feb. 6.

SILVER, BLACK, RED AND ICE: It's San Antonio Spurs affiliate night and also a night to "Go Red for Women" at the Austin Convention Center. The Spurs mascot and the Spurs Silver Dancers, along with Spurs great George "Iceman" Gervin, will all be there. Toros fans are also wearing red in support of the American Heart Association's national campaign to educate women on heart disease. A dollar from every walk-up ticket sold for the Toros vs. Bakersfield will benefit the campaign.
