CHRISTENING THE CENTER: The Colorado 14ers will christen the sparkling new Broomfield Event Center for basketball by hosting the Los Angeles D-Fenders tonight. The facility is a state of the art 180,000 square foot multi-purpose event center and includes 6,000 seats, including 25 suites, 900 club seats, a sit-down restaurant, two themed bars and a separate basketball practice facility.

At the NBA's request, the D-League is experimenting with the international basket interference rule this season.
