
Austin brings Bowen back

AUSTIN, Texas, December 1, 2006 - The Austin Toros have reacquired forward Justin Bowen and waived center Jeff Hagen to rehabilitate an injury.
Bowen, 6-7, 205, was waived by the Toros on November 22. The Illinois-Chicago product was taken by Austin in the fifth round (58th overall) of the 2006 D-League Draft. Hagen did not play in a game for the Toros this season.
Bowen participated in the summer league with the Chicago Bulls in 2006. He led Illinois-Chicago in scoring as a senior last season, averaging 14.7 points. He also posted team bests in steals (1.3 pg), and field goal percentage (.524). His 6.8 rebounds were second on the team.
Bowen will join the team in time for Tuesday's game at Arkansas and wear jersey #25.
