D-Fenders Fall To Legends On The Road

Despite double-doubles from Brandon Costner and Terrence Roberts, the Los Angeles D-Fenders fell to the Texas Legends 112-108 at the Dr. Pepper Arena on Wednesday night. The loss brings the D-Fenders (8-5) to 6-3 in their last nine games.

Costner totaled a game-high 34 points, 10 rebounds and two blocked shots, and Roberts tallied 20 points (7-14 FG), a game-high 12 rebounds and two blocked shots, marking the third time this season that two or more D-Fenders have recorded double-doubles in the same game. Orien Greene added 22 points (9-16 FG), five rebounds and five assists and Gerard Anderson recorded 13 points, six rebounds and three steals to round out four Los Angeles players in double-figures.

Booker Woodfox paced the Legends (3-8) in scoring with 22 points (6-7 3FG), Chris Roberts totaled 17 points and five rebounds, and Ramon Dyer chipped in a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds in the win.

The D-Fenders conclude a two-game series in Frisco with the Legends on December 23rd. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. CST and can be seen on NBA Futurecast.
