D.C. United's 2007 MLS season begins on April 7 when the team travels to play the league opener against the Colorado Rapids in the first match played at Colorado's brand new Dick's Sporting Goods Park. The home slate begins on April 14 when United will host the Kansas City Wizards in the RFK season opener.
"We're excited for the upcoming MLS season," said United Executive Vice President Stephen Zack. "Our fans are second-to-none and we're looking forward to a packed RFK throughout 2007."
The games available now include exciting clashes against Eastern Conference rivals Chicago Fire, New England Revolution and New York Red Bulls as well as a home date against current league Champion, Houston Dynamo. Individual game tickets for the remainder of the season, including games against the LA Galaxy, featuring David Beckham, Real Salt Lake with the return of Freddy Adu to RFK and the first ever visit of expansion club Toronto FC will go on sale at a later date.
Fans can also pick up tickets for the highly anticipated March 15 CONCACAF Champions' Cup semifinal match against Mexican champions Chivas de Guadalajara, including great discounts on packages that include both that game and the season opener.
