KELLY CUP EASTERN CONFERENCE QUARTERFINALS - GAME 3 / $1 BEERS

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: After an exhilarating six-game first round series, the Cyclones have advanced to the Eastern Conference Semifinals where they'll meet the third-seeded Gwinnett Gladiators in another best-of-seven match-up. The teams only met twice during the regular season, with both earning a regulation victory at Gwinnett Center. All-time against Gwinnett, the Cyclones are 6-7-0 in regular season play. This series will mark the first time ever that the clubs have gone head-to-head in the playoffs.

SCOUTING THE GLADIATORS: John Wroblewski's group swept easily past the South Carolina Stingrays in four straight games, outscoring the ECHL MVP and company by a 15-6 margin. Ryan Ginand led the Gladiators on offense in Round 1, posting seven points (3 goals, 4 assists) while Evan Bloodoff and former Cyclone Casey Pierro-Zabotel each notched five tallies in the four contests. All of Pierro-Zabotel's points came via the assist - and now ranks second among all ECHL players in the category. Between the pipes, Louis Domingue was solid for Gwinnett, collecting a 1.50 goals-against average in the series. He made a playoff-high 40 saves in Game 4 to help his team complete the sweep.

Road Warriors: After one round of work, the Cyclones and Gladiators are the only two teams in the Eastern Conference who are unblemished away from home. The Cyclones won all three games in Toledo during Round 1 while the Gladiators took both games at North Charleston Coliseum. All-time on the road in playoff games, the Cyclones are 28-14.

Pacman's Prowess: Cyclones rookie David Pacan has been one of the most productive first-year players in these playoffs. His seven points are best in the conference and just one point shy of the league lead. His four goals are also second most. The Clones are 3-1 when he finds the score sheet.
