Cyclones Announce Preseason Schedule

Cincinnati, OH- The Cincinnati Cyclones have announced their 2016 preseason schedule, featuring a pair of games with the Eastern Conference Champion Wheeling Nailers.

Cincinnati and Wheeling will meet Thursday, October 6 at 7:05pm in Wheeling, before returning to U.S. Bank Arena for a 7:30pm tilt on Friday, October 7. Tickets for the October 7th home contest are $5.00 for the general public and Cyclones Season Ticket Holders will receive tickets to that game with their packages.

This is the third year in a row, and sixth time in the last seven preseasons that the Cyclones and Nailers will meet, with Cincinnati holding a 6-4-0 edge in the previous 10 meetings. The Cyclones took both meetings last preseason, winning by a combined score of 10-3.

The Nailers and Cyclones met four times during the 2015-2016 regular season, with Wheeling posting a 3-0-1-0 record in those contests. The Cyclones' lone win was a 3-2 overtime decision on March 18.

The countdown to the 2016-17 First Face-Off is underway! The Cyclones will return to U.S. Bank Arena on Saturday, October 15 when they host the Indy Fuel at 7:35pm.
