
Cutters Rained Out; Doubleheader Scheduled for Thursday

New Haven County Cutters News Release
Wednesday's night New Haven County Cutters game against the Elmira Pioneers was postponed due to rain. The two teams will play a twin-bill of seven inning games on Thursday, with the first game starting at 5:05.
There will be no change in the starting pitching rotation. Jarrett Stawarz (2-4) will make his second start for the Cutters and will face off against Elmira's Jose Guzman (1-4). The second game features New Haven County southpaw Rolando Valles (2-4) against Pioneers righty Michael Howell (3-3).
Thirsty Thursday ($1 select drafts) will take place as it does on all Thursdays, with the exception being sale of $1 beers will begin at 6:00p.m., no matter what stage the first or second game is in.
In roster news, right-handed reliever Mark Comolli has been signed by the Cutters. He started the season with the North Shore Spirit and compiled a 1-3 record with one save to go along with a 4.24 earned run average in 13 appearances. He pitch out of the bullpen.
Fans with tickets to Wednesday night's rainout can redeem their tickets at the Cutters' box office for a ticket to any other home game this season.
