Looking for a fun summer job' The Williamsport Crosscutters may have a solution. The short-season Class A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies is looking to fill over 60 part-time positions at Historic Bowman Field for the 2011 season.
Interested individuals must apply in-person at the Cutters Job Fairs to be held May 14 & 18 from 10am-2pm at the Genetti Hotel, downtown Williamsport. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
"Historic Bowman Field is a fun place to work and makes for great summer employment for high school and college students, retirees or anyone looking for a fun second job", said Williamsport Crosscutters Vice-President General Manager Doug Estes
Available job areas include; ushers, concessions, ticketing, guest services and more. The Crosscutters season consists of 38 home games from June 17 until September 4. Employees work approximately four hours at each Cutters home game and are not required to be available for all games. Applicants should have a good personality and willingness to work with the public.
Opening Night 2011, presented by River Valley Transit, is slated for Friday June 17 as the Crosscutters host the rival State College Spikes. Opening Night & single-game tickets will go on sale May 23.
