Williamsport Crosscutters News Release

Williamsport Crosscutters Director of Smiles, Rhashan West-Bey, will have his own Topps baseball card this season. The card, which will contain a piece of his game worn polo shirt, is part of the Fabrics of the Farm insert set in Topps 2016 Pro Debut Baseball.

"When the Topps Company contacted us asking for a relic from around the ballpark, we thought what could be better than seeing Rhashan on a Topps card and sharing him with baseball card collectors around the country," said Gabe Sinicropi, Cutter Vice President of Marketing. "We are excited to have a relic in the set for a second year in a row."

In 2015, the Cutters were featured in a Fabrics of the Farm insert card that contained pieces of an old Sawmill Team Store sign that had previously hung in the stadium. Additionally, Cutters mascot Boomer had a special patch insert in the 2015 edition that proved popular with collectors.

The West-Bey card will also be available in a variety of limited parallels including a Gold version (numbered to 50), a Red version (numbered to 5), a Black version (numbered to 1) and Printing Plates (numbered to 1).

Topps Pro Debut features the top minor league players and showcases the first minor league images of many of the 2015 MLB draftees. The set features a 200-card base set plus a variety of special inserts including Fragments of the Farm relics offering offbeat MiLB memorabilia pieces.

Hobby boxes and packs of 2016 Topps Pro Debut are scheduled to be available starting May 25. A limited number of packs will be available for sale in the Sawmill Team Store at BB&T Ballpark starting in June.
