
Curve's Delaney Pushes South to All-Star Game Win

TRENTON, NJ - Curve 1B/OF Jason Delaney singled in Nick Weglarz in the eighth inning to break a 3-3 tie and give the South Division the lead for good in a 5-3 win in the Eastern League All-Star Game Wednesday night at Waterfront Park in Trenton, NJ.
Delaney, along with SS Brian Friday and LHP Daniel Moskos all took part in Wednesday contest. Delaney and Friday each started the game and played for its entirety. Delaney started as the South Division's Designated Hitter and batted seventh in the lineup. Friday was the South's starting shortstop and hit in the nine position in the order.
Delaney would finish 1-for-3 with the RBI single and a walk, while and Friday also singled in a 1-for-4 effort.
Left hander Daniel Moskos came on for an inning of relief for the South in the third inning. Moskos would allow one earned run on one hit with three walks.
